The lens features a very strong optical design formulated into 20 elements in 14 groups including 3 ED (Extra Low Dispersion) glass elements and one HRI (High Refractive Index) element. A combination of Nano Crystal Coating and Super Integrated Coatings minimize internal reflections and maximize contrast. Optical performance is on par with other pro level telephoto zooms.
