We are all made of star stuff, and this is where some stars are born. From stellar clouds of gas and dust, the Orion Nebula is an active star nursery and one of the closest star-forming regions to Earth.

This image of the Orion Nebula was captured right here in DC from our back patio. Despite the light pollution, a beautiful set of images was captured and combined to reveal beautiful nebulosity and formation.
