The new Swivi Foldable LCD Viewfinder is a professional quality LCD viewfinder loupe designed for shooting video with a HDSLR. The loupe provides an clear, magnified view of the camera’s LCD, essential when shooting video in daylight conditions. Two viewing modes are provided: Magnification Mode and Standard Mode. Magnification mode provides a 3X view of the LCD via a focusable lens with a comfortable rubber eyecup. Standard mode is achieved by flipping up the eyepiece leaving a hooded (helping to shade the LCD) direct view of the LCD. The eyecup is adjustable for left or right eye use. Additionally, the eyepiece has an adjustable diopter and a manual shutter to protect the LCD from sun light.

The Swivi Foldable LCD Viewfinder securely attaches to the camera via the provided mounting plate that attaches to the tripod mount of the camera. So that the camera can be easily attached to a tripod with the viewfinder attached to the camera, the mount is designed as a quick release plate to fit Arca Swiss style ball head and tripod mounts as well as having three female 1/4-20 taps. The mount allows the viewfinder to be moved forward/backward, left/right, and up/down enabling it to be fitted to many different cameras. The design of the mount allows the mount to remain on the camera and the viewfinder to be quickly removed from the camera. A rubber cushion on the viewfinder protects the camera and LCD. The viewfinder may be used on cameras with a swivel screen. It supports a 3” LCD with a 4:3 ratio and is compatible for LCD’s with a 3:2 ratio.
